Healing

Healing can occur in more realms than just the physical, such as in the realm of the emotions, mentality and the spirit. I also believe that the key to physical healing is first being healed in the realm of the emotions, mentality or the spiritual. For only once the emotions are submitted to the Word and the Promises of God, only once the mentality of the one who is in need of physical healing can break out of the negativity, break out of the role of the victim and wrap their mind around the Word and the Promises of God regarding physical healing, and only once the one who is in need of physical healing is spiritually connected to the One who heals and has received their salvation through the One who heals and understands that at the time of their salvation they became a joint heir with the One who heals and thereby their healing was already received on Calvary will one be able to then believe for the One who heals to heal them.

In I Believe in Miracles it mentions that Kathryn Kuhlman strongly disapproved of anyone having the idea that her ministry was devoted only, or even primarily, to the healing of sick bodies. Ms. Kuhlman had many teachings but what everyone remembers is the many healings of sick bodies that took place and it is in this realm that the present day church operates. Now don’t get me wrong, healing of sick bodies is something we should rejoice about and ensure to give God glory for (not man) but I think it is just as important to ensure that the healing of one’s emotions, mentality and spirit take place for it is through these healings that one will gain the understanding regarding physical healing not just for themselves but to share with others. It is great to receive the miraculous power of God in a circumstance but it is greater to walk out of the circumstance with understanding of the miraculous power of God. Understanding of His Word and His Promises regarding one’s circumstance, understanding of what occurred at one’s time of salvation, understanding of what spiritual weapons to use in what season, understanding of the Anointing and how to move the Anointing into any situation by the Word, understanding of what to do when the Holy Spirit, the Power of God is present and understanding of how to reverence the Holy Spirit, the Power of God when present.

The Lord has had me studying the services of Kathryn Kuhlman and the many testimonies that took place in her services. Within the first chapter of the first book I was brought to tears. I realized just how far the present day church has gotten from the reverence of the Holy Spirit and how today the church reverences things more than the presence of the Holy Spirit, positions and titles more than the presence of the Holy Spirit. It seems the church is more interested in performing an entertaining service rather than letting the Performer of the miraculous have liberty to move. It seems the church is more interested in showcasing one’s gifts rather than showcasing the One who is the giver of the gift. It seems as soon as the atmosphere is at the place where He can move the green light goes on for the congregation to move with people jockeying to be seen laying hands or delivering a Word with the majority having no understanding in what they are doing.

What the church has learned very well is how to copy, how to copy the world, how to copy other’s anointing and callings, other’s worship, and other’s ministries. Copying does not bring forth the miraculous power of God. Dying to one’s self does. The present day church must learn what it is to die, to be broken. Watchman Nee wrote it like this, “Only one kind of basic dealing can enable man to be useful before God – brokenness.” Kathryn Kuhlman has been quoted to say, “I die a thousand deaths before every service.” Now I am sure one can still be used without these but it will never to be to the extent that God would like to use them for self, pride, fear, etc will commonly get in the way. I agree with the following statement by Ms. Kuhlman, “…To this very day, there is nothing more repulsive to me than the lack of wisdom…There is one thing I can’t stand, and that is fanaticism – the manifestations of the flesh that bring a reproach on something that is so marvelous, something that is so sacred.”

There is such a drive in me for the church to become again that oasis for those who are thirsting purely after God and the Anointing of the miraculous to touch their situations. It is here that I have been lately in consecration and in prayer/worship. It is as if I’m seeing the big picture for the first time. This has only come after the Lord had me on a 30 day Word consecration and now a 10 day fast in which I have never broke down the way I did on New Year’s Day. Nothing else matters to me anymore except seeing people who need to find God, find Him and find the real God, not the one the church has created. Nothing else matters to me anymore except seeing the church go from fanaticism to true, genuine and pure worship and reverence toward a God that nothing is impossible with and can make the way of escape out of any situation…including physical death.

I understand more and more as I read the many testimonies that occurred during the many services Ms. Kuhlman conducted that anyone who has a responsibility in a service as such must have first died to self so that they are completely out of His way, they must second have the heart of a servant and realize they are solely there to be a vessel to Him, to be that point of faith, that agreement for someone who may or may not know they need it, and thirdly they must have understanding of the different types of healings that can manifest (some do happen over a period of time) as well as the different types of individuals and their mindsets that will be present. Only when you can understand and relate to someone can you truly be effective.

I believe the Lord is identifying and promoting this year individuals who realize this really isn’t about them. It is truly about Him and His work. He is trying people’s hearts and dealing with individuals in ways He hasn’t before and I believe He is connecting individuals, who are seeking after Him to other individuals who get it and disconnecting individuals, who are seeking after Him from those who don’t.

It’s not personal…it’s just Spirit!

Cast Down Your Mountain

The saying, “Don’t make a mountain out of a mole hill” is a saying we, as believers, should adhere to. I wonder how many, like myself in the recent past, have gotten to the place where we began to create mountains in our lives out of mole hills (situations) and thereby exalting those mountains over the God that we serve.

With all the changes taking place recently it seems that we have to stretch ourselves in faith in so many different areas of our walk. It isn’t as in the beginning of our walks where we had the luxury of focusing our faith on one area at a time. Now, we have to stretch our faith to cover a multitude of areas in our walks at one time, and in this it is easy to allow some of one’s mole hills (situations) to become mountains, especially if you have been dealing with those mole hills (situations) over a period of time and it “appears” as if nothing is changing.

The end of a year is usually a time where one reflects on the failures and successes of the year that is coming to a close. One begins to reflect on where they are at, where they came from and where they know they should be. For me, I have never received the type of revelation that I have received this year but I also have not experienced death (the dying of one’s SELF) as I have experienced this year. It is as if I was like the pumpkins at Halloween that individuals carve to make Jack O Lanterns. It is as if God Himself carved open my top and began to scoop out everything that was NOT of Him, Perceptions, Mindsets, Religion, Self (to name a few), uncomfortable to say the least.

As more of what wasn’t Him came out, more of what IS Him became abundantly clear. One thing that was clear is that I had allowed the mole hills (situations) to become mountains and I was beginning to exalt those mountains over God. I began to meditate on these mole hills (situations) until they became as big mountains in front of me. Mountains that were beginning to obstruct my Vision. Now, rather then seeing clearly in front of me I was trying to see around the mountains at the vision. I was trying to jump up to see above the mountains at the vision. The bigger the mountains got the smaller the vision became and the smaller I felt. This is because for me there is no me without vision. Mix those emotions with the emotions that one experiences because they are about to birth that vision and you have an individual headed straight toward the spirit of oppression, depression and fear. It can be very overwhelming.

Recently, as I lay on what I felt was my deathbed, as I lay and went over every mountain and all that was in me that has yet to be released or seen, the change that I know the Lord placed in me to birth that would probably go against what religion has taught us, I heard the Lord whisper to me, “Daughter, with man this is impossible, but with Me NOTHING is impossible”. At that moment it was like something went off in me again. It was as if that fire was ignited again. “Yes Father, You are right. I serve the God of the impossible. How dare I begin to exalt my situations and glorify my situations over the God who can make the impossible…possible”. He then revealed to me regarding the mountains that had created themselves (with my assistance I’m sure). And only one in relationship with God can sit at His feet and allow Him to reveal what has created one’s mountain. For everyone it is different, it could be fear, pride, a mindset, low self-esteem, rejection, the sense of failure, bad choices, one’s past, lack, and the list of course can go on and on. I was so focused on that which was impossible in my situations that I was missing what was possible not only at this particular moment but what could be possible in the near future.

He then shared with me that back in August He had dealt with me about the vision for my life and how I was entering into my last trimester of someone who was to give birth. 2009 is going to be the year of the birth. It is going to be the year that we begin to birth that which has been in us. Every change that has taken place this year is because He has had to step into what man created and dismantle it so that He could begin to build what He designed. Everything from churches, ministries, our country, school systems, the economy, and our relationships to name a few.

He then took me to Isaiah 54 which begins with the speaking of the barren woman. A woman who is barren is a woman who is not able to produce. Of course, with vision, both men and women can be barren. He revealed to me three reasons why so many of us have become barren and not able to birth that which is in us. (1.) Some of us are not able to birth because we have not yet arrived at the place where the birth is to take place. For some, that place may not exist yet or that place may exist but may not be ready for one yet. (2.) Some of us are attempting to birth in a place that doesn’t belong to us, and rather then release that place because of fear or pride we attempt to force that place to be the place for the birth (3.) Some of us have been so beat up and so focused on our mountains that we don’t feel we have the strength to give birth. We must see the birth of vision as important and we must see the importance of now birthing what God has designed and not what we desire to create. The reason it is important is because there are others connected to our vision. Someone’s restoration, faith, healing, peace, prosperity, salvation and so on are connected to the change we are to birth. Church/God can no longer be about being entertained or made to “feel” good it must be about seeing His work come to pass. It can no longer be about the titles, the exposure, the entourages, the celebrities but becoming a servant. It can no longer be about the lifestyle it must be about the life. What is the point of having a lifestyle if you have no foundation or knowledge on how to maintain it? In Isaiah 54 the children that are to inherit the nations, inhabit the desolate cities and be taught by the Lord are the children of the vision. The children that are a product of the vision we birth.

Now how do we get all this done? Well in Isaiah 54 the Lord instructs the barren woman to sing. For us it is simple, we speak it. The Lord instructed me to (1.) Speak to my mountains and cast them down (2.) Get His perception and His mindset on where I am at and where I am headed (3.) No longer worship Him from the place in which I am at the moment but to worship Him from the place in which I am to be, the place that belongs to me, that place that has been mine since the foundation of the world, since before I was in my mother’s womb, since when He created man, He created them and blessed them, basically since He created my mate, He created We and Empowered Us! (That is another message)

I am no longer focused on the day to day. Now that the mountains have been removed and I can clearly see what is in front of me I am focused on the big picture. Those connected to the vision and those I am to be connected to for the vision. I’m focused on what is to take place a year from now, 3 years from now, 7 years from now. This is the place where I worship Him from, the place of it being already done. I’m speaking Word not for where I am at now but for where I am going to be. After all, where I am at now is a product of either the Word I did speak or chose not to speak. I’m speaking Word now so when my moment comes I will walk into that Word. That moment will be covered and prepared for me. I will walk into a place designed and destined for ME. A place where I am not only going to receive the Harvest I am to receive at that moment but I am also going to receive the Harvest I should have received had those mountains or even choices not prolonged it. It is what we call Restoration and this is why Restoration has to bring double. Your not just receiving the Harvest for that moment, you are also receiving the Harvest from the past. One thing I am learning is that when you are focused on Him and what He (not man) has called you to do, you can’t help but receive what is yours, whether it is the one you came out of or the one that came out of you (mate-should you desire that), the possession of land, your inheritance, healing, strength, peace, promotion and so on.

Not just naturally but spiritually we are in an exciting transition. And everything and everyone who played a part up to this point, good or bad should be appreciated for without the good and the bad you would have never learned or grown or gotten, like me, to that place where you know that you know that you know where you are headed and what it is to look like. No more counterfeits, no more confusion, no more guessing. It will be exactly as He placed in you. So, moving forward, don't allow the mole hills (temporary situations) in your life to become permanent mountains.

According to Mark 11:23 once you speak to your mountain(s) to be removed and cast into the sea, doing so without doubt in your heart and believing it is done…it is done. Once removed it is important to ensure that you begin to speak His will and not your own for we have what we say and in this moment we must ensure that this time around we are speaking and in what doesn’t just "appear" to be Him to the onlookers (which is where we have been at) but that we are in what "IS" Him! And you will know what IS Him because you will see the fruit, you will see the growth. You won't be experiencing loss you will be experiencing gain. And though challenges may come you will have this memorial that with God, NOTHING is impossible.

This thing we call TIME

Time determines so much in our lives. It speaks to us what time of the day it is, day of the week, week of the month and month of the year. It also speaks to us the season we are in and not just naturally but spiritually. However, spiritually it is easier to miss the changing of a season because sometimes there may be no outer indication that the season has changed except the knowing in your Spirit. Kind of like California where it seems we are always in the same season because you don’t see the indications you do on the East Coast such as the leaves changing or the snow.

Time also dictates to some whether they have succeeded or not, usually by their own timeline. Individuals dictate by this time next year or by this age some goal they want to accomplish and so on and so forth. More times than usual the dictation is based off their own desire and if for some reason their goal does not manifest by the time dictated they look at themselves as having failed.

Now anyone who walks with God, and I mean in true relationship, will realize more sooner than later that His time is usually NOT your timing and thereby if some of these man given goals have yet to manifest it does not indeed mean one has failed. It may mean that you (or those connected to you) are not yet at the place (spiritually and naturally) where you are ready to walk in it, even if you “feel” as though you are.

The Bible says that to everything there is a season, that to the Lord, a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day, that His thoughts are not our thoughts nor are His ways our ways. You must allow the Lord to reveal to you what season you are in and then find peace within that revelation. For someone the season may be one of the lime-light but for you it may be the season of hiding or waiting and vice versa. If it is the prior and you do not find that peace you may begin to attempt to take matters into your own hands thereby either messing it up which could then prolong it even more or you could get into it not prepared and end up losing it. Even when the Word, the Prophetic Word comes forth, you must receive it for YOU and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal to YOU where that Word fits within your walk. Time is under our dominion but it is our responsibility to discern what time it is for US as individuals. We must discern when in the Presence, when in worship, when in prayer what we must do to be ready for our time, to be ready for our moment. We must be sensitive to what God is instructing us to do within that Word, Prophetic Word and what He is having us to declare and stay consistent in that so it can bring forth our season.

We must eventually move our trust from others and even ourselves to Him with the understanding that He knows better than we do when our season, our time has come to receive what He pre-destined for us before the foundation of the world. For it is that which He pre-destined that is destiny, that which will last and stick, that where you will be sustained. Everything else is purpose. It gets you to that place of destiny. And through this time of trusting you must learn to take your focus off everything around you and look past the present to that which He has shown you your life is to be and no matter what it “appears” to be – good or bad your trust must be in Him. Not everything is as it seems so why attempt to compete with it. Some situations are like the fig tree. From afar the fig tree appeared as if it were producing but once Jesus came up close to the fig tree it was clear that it wasn’t producing. Some situations are the opposite. Like when Jesus had to feed the five thousand with only five loaves and two fish. The situation can look impossible and within a second God’s Word swoops down and the impossible becomes the possible.

I used to be in that category of believers that would hear the Word, receive the Word, and declare the time “NOW”. I now see that I really wasn’t dissecting what I received with God. Like most I wanted to see change NOW, I wanted to step into it NOW. NOW J I see that the desire for NOW for most comes from either pressure of family, friends, society or even self. It can come from anxiety, a burden or pride. I’m at a point now where I am delivered from others wrong opinions or what they think regarding me and what God is doing with me. His peace speaks that I am exactly where I need to be. And it is nothing else but His peace. It isn’t me out there trying to get attention, it isn’t me running all over the place doing useless things that in the end don’t fulfill or produce, and it isn’t in me trying to make something happen – intentionally or unintentionally. It is just simply His peace.

Over the past few months I have really grown in my trust in God, and with that growth in trust has come a great peace that what belongs to me belongs to me. Even if someone else is occupying it, it is only for a moment, only until God says, “Enough is Enough, its baby girl’s time to step in and occupy.” I’ve also come to realize that I really don’t want what is mine until it is time, until it is ripe. I don’t want what is mine before He has had a chance to do what He needs to with all parties involved. I want the fruit ripe. I believe that in this everyone will step in knowing what to do and actually doing it. All that other “stuff” will be out the way, less drama and fewer mistakes. All parties will be able to hit the ground running and start producing. All who are to receive will have their hearts in the place to receive. Especially when it comes to a relationship, as the woman it is my desire to bring increase to my mate when he joins himself to me, rather then see him decrease when he joins himself to me. So if I am not who I need to be for him and to him when we are joined or if I settle or rush and join myself to the wrong person the latter can happen. I realize now that one can have BOTH the natural and the spiritual in one person, you don’t have to settle for just one side, you can have the whole package. Imagine that power!

At that I have now learned to embrace this thing called time. Not to waste it. Not to rush it. Especially since in this year we are to see years restored to us that were wasted. Why waste more years dealing with the same people, situations? Release and see the restoration. I’m learning that every second of every minute of every hour of every day of every week of every month of every year is a moment that I have to PREPARE. It is a moment that I have to evaluate me and those around me. It is a moment I have to make a mistake without it affecting those it could affect had that mistake happened once I got into what He pre-destined for me. It is a moment that I am able to go deeper in God to not just see another side of Him but to see another side of me for I am Him. It is a moment I can nurture that around me, mature, grow with those around me or that in which who I am with, and get to know those around me or that in which who I am with. Time is something to be treasured and appreciated not rushed.
