Today I find myself in yet another place in God. It amazes me how just when I think I’ve got it at one dimension I immediately get moved into a new dimension. Where I am at now is a place (spiritually) that I have not been before. It is one of Rest and Trust. It is a place of Observation and one of Clarity as well as one of Growth.
It has to do with the Word. If you are a believer you are taught in regards to the Word, to believe the Word, to speak the Word. I always explain it to others like this, If God spoke everything into existence and we are made in His image and likeness then I also should be able to speak everything into existence. I often say that our lives are a product of what we have been speaking. There’s the observation. Let me also interject here that I am not talking “The Secret” hype or “Witchcraft”. This isn’t about naming and claiming. It is about Seeking and Knowing the Will for one’s life and allowing the Spirit of the Lord to lead as to what Written Word needs to be spoken concerning situations and it is about taking the Rhema Word and speaking that as well over your life and situations.
I realize the Word is Seed and the best way to describe this would be that of an individual who plants seeds into the soil expecting that seed to grow into what they planted. Just as that individual places that seed into the ground, waters the seed and waits for that seed to harvest in its due season it is the same with the Word. We are to sow the Word (Seed) by speaking it, we are to continue to water the Word by speaking it, following His instruction concerning it and eventually at some point we must wait for that Word (Seed) to Harvest.
This is where I am at, the Harvest, which is new for me. I’ve done all I have been instructed to do concerning certain areas and now it is time to see the Harvest in these areas. I’ve been sensing that the season has changed but for some reason I wasn’t grasping what I was sensing and still following instruction from that old season. This is where I think most miss it. Revelation is progressive and most people stick with what they HEARD rather than with what they are HEARING. They get stuck with what God SAID rather than what He is SAYING.
One day I was at my office and I pulled out my pages upon pages of Word to declare over myself, my life, and my situations. I felt as though I was struggling. It started to seem like more work than my actual job…or my “ob” as some would call it. The Lord told me to STOP! Surely this could not be accurate. The Lord would NEVER tell me to STOP speaking His Word. But He did. He told me that it was time for THAT Word to Harvest and for me to REST in THAT Word that I had been speaking. Now for me, I don’t know how to rest, even in my personal life. I almost feel guilty when I do. So I realize He had to do something out of the box to get my attention. I realized that I wasn’t truly exercising my faith or fully trusting Him to FINISH this, though of course I thought I was because I was doing business as usual in the Word department.
My Faith was taking on a new form. My faith was no longer going to be in what I knew to do but it was now going to be in what I was TRUSTING Him to do. I had to TRUST Him to do this. He is the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Meaning, He starts and He finishes. My job is the in between. Once I realized this and started to follow a great deal of peace came on. A peace so powerful that even when challenges arose or my emotions would attempt to talk to me, even if I entertained them for a second it didn’t go beyond that second. The peace kicked in that surpassed all understanding. Clarity started coming forth in regards to my past, present and soon to be future and in regards to certain relationships. I realized why some have been sustained, why some have been restored and why some have become no longer. Relationships that took me years to get out of it were now as if they never existed. No pain, no hurt, no bitterness. I think it so funny now how individuals, after coming out of a relationship, bash the other person. Why can’t we just accept the fact that it just wasn’t meant to be? Or, if some people think it’s perfect, maybe it is, just not for us. (That is a whole other blog) This is where the Lord dealt with me about how Speaking of dead things/situations only keep them in our future and how Speaking of the past only keeps it in our future and how speaking of people/situations not changing only allows them to stay the same. Sometimes the best thing to do is to BE QUIET! ;)
Needless to say I am now receiving instruction for the next go round. The Word spoken for this Harvest is not going to be the Word spoken for the next one. So here I sit, resting, beginning to walk into my confessions and beginning to start the cycle all over again.
A look into the heart and journey of a woman who believes that we, as women, can be both fabulous and serious about our relationship with God and the gifts, callings and Anointing on our lives. That there is a balance we can acquire that will produce wholeness not only in our lives but in the lives of those connected to us. Through shared experiences and transparency may the words written bless the ears that hear, the hearts that may be bruised, and the Spirit that receives.

Why I Am Still Single!
I finally know why I am still single. Well, according to the stranger at Jack in the Box. Oh! Did I forget to tell you that I know why I am still single? LOL!
So my girl and I decided to roll through the Jack in the Box drive-thru after a couple hours out because, well, why do most people roll through the drive-thru after a night out? Your hungry!
Now, let's paint the picture. The Jack in the Box by mi casa has two entry ways into the drive-thru. There are no barricades, no dividers and no arrows to assist with direction. Now I believe that drive-thru etiquette in a situation like this is much like pulling up to a (4) way or all way stop sign. Whoever gets there first has the right of way.
We arrive and pull in and notice there are cars pulling in from both entry ways. There are (2) cars in front of us in our line and another car before us in the other line. After we arrive a white car pulls up on the other side so I share the drive-thru etiquette and tell my friend that the white car is to go after us. Obviously the driver of the white car knew the drive-thru etiquette as well because when it was our turn the driver didn't try to edge in or cut us off, in fact, the driver stayed right where it was parked and waited.
As we were waiting for our turn (we were next) to give our order we were re-capping the nights events. Out of nowhere a silver car pulls up next to us and the driver rolls down his window and says, "Are you serious", "For real". Because it is after one in the morning we were thinking the driver was trying to get our attention and being funny so we roll down the window and ask, "What"? The driver then says, "Are you serious? Your car, then that car, that car, then your car." To which I responded, "What are you talking about?" He must have been behind the white car, not knowing drive-thru etiquette or what was going on because he accused us of cutting and not waiting our turn to which I responded, "We were here first before that car." He then told us we were dumb and that THIS was why we were still single and drove off.
Not that I needed to know why I was still single because I am pretty clear as to why I am still single. But apparently, thanks to this God send in the Jack in the Box drive-thru I now have the real reason. I am still single because I am dumb and don't allow people who get to the drive-thru AFTER me to go BEFORE me. I am guessing the revelation is that I am not smart nor am I polite. And I obviously was wearing on my face that I had been searching for the answer as to why I am still single which obviously is why this complete stranger, who came out of no where felt the need to stop our car and give us this revelation.
Needless to say, my friend and I didn't have great comebacks until after the guy drove off. I guess we have this thing with after. LOL! Plus, we were so thrown by the whole conversation. Though my friend, in honor of Mother's Day did get a, "Your Mama is dumb" as he drove off.
Now, I am sure there are singles out there who really are wondering why they are still single so the assignment for you is to ask yourself, "Have I ever NOT let a car go BEFORE me in a drive-thru that got to the drive-thru AFTER me. If you have, then that means you are dumb and that is why you are still single. Boy, did I just save you some time and possibly therapy. :)
I know, take a deep breath, it is a lot to take in but hey, at least you know and now you can fix it. Moving forward whenever you are at a drive-thru, even if you are at the intercom ordering you can stop what you are doing and let all the cars that get there after you go before you. And not long after, I guess along will come Mr. / Mrs. Right!

Relationships
Relationships…Relationships…Relationships…
That one word can relate to so many different types, family, colleagues, career, ministry, and of course intimate. And for some reason the intimate relationship, the relationship between man and woman seems to be the focal point of most women, and maybe even some men. It is the focal of every conversation for the single woman and the older you get the more hope is lost concerning you finding “Mr. Right” from those who ask the million dollar question every time they see you, “Anyone special in your life?” It is as if the world of the single woman is supposed to revolve around the search for someone special to share their life with.
Now for some women this is the case, IN and OUT of the “church”. Some women are justified by who they are with, some women think it will make their lives easier if they have a man in it, some women can’t be alone so they manipulate, force, trap, or provide houses, money, cars, and vacations to get the one they want.
Then there are those women who claim to have “heard” from God who their mate is, no I should put husband there, even though the target man is married OR even though they have never had a conversation with the man, a relationship with the man or better yet, an introduction with the man.
Lastly, there are those who know their place, understand their role, have gone through the preparation season and are ready for companionship. However, these women do not stop their world in search of this, nor do they utilize their own tactics, rather they seek God and keep flowing with God and know that what belongs to them is theirs and therefore, no matter what happens along the way they will end up exactly where and with whom they are supposed to be with.
People, especially in the “church”, make the whole man/woman – boy/girl relationship process so much more difficult then it is. Some individuals think that God is up there in Heaven telling people who they are going to end up with. Some think He is up there in Heaven throwing bricks down with people’s names on them and hitting us over the head so we end up with the right individual. News flash is that He isn’t doing any of this. He can’t because He gave us free will, which means He gave us the power to choose. He isn’t going to force His people do anything. He presents and gives His people the power to choose. Even with salvation, He laid the Truth before us, gave us all the facts but still gave us the power to choose or not choose salvation. It is the same when it comes to relationships. He brings us to or brings to us and we choose. Sometimes people get it right but forfeit it either because of their doing or the doing of someone else, sometimes people just get it right and, sometimes people get it wrong, yes, even Kingdom individuals. And if you don’t believe that just read Kathryn Kuhlman’s story.
Like anything else, the best way to understand is to go back to the beginning and study God’s order. Some of this comes from a teaching and some the Lord showed me. In Genesis it states that God (created) man in His image, male and female He created them and blessed them. Further down in Genesis it states that He (formed) man, breathed life into him and man became a living being. As we keep going we see God place Adam in the garden to tend and keep it, we see God give the man instruction, we see God declare that it is not good for man to be (alone) so He makes the man a comparable help only first, before woman, He forms every beast of the field and bird of the air and brings them to Adam to see what Adam calls them for whatever Adam called them was to be their name. Now if God is all knowing and God formed these creatures then God obviously knew what they were called. He was seeing if Adam knew what they were called. To inject we should remember that at this time there was no sin in the Earth so Adam was walking perfectly with God, without distraction, without confusion and thereby named them correctly. As we continue to read we see that among these a comparable help for Adam was not found so God then makes woman from the man’s rib, brings the woman to the man and the man names her. I don’t believe it reads that the woman was brought to the man and told the man who she was and who she was to him. Yet today, women feel the need to declare who they are to the man and if the man can’t see it they go through a whirlwind of emotions and questions that normally leads to lack of confidence and low self-esteem. Why? Is it because the women are attempting to make something that isn’t God to be God or is that so few men are in their rightful place with God and thereby can’t see what is before them and name their comparable help correctly? And it can always go either way.
Now that one understands the order one knows the outline. God (forms) man and breathes life (vision) into him. God places the man in the garden to tend to it and keep it (work, job, and/or career), we see that the man has responsibility and that he is accountable to something / someone bigger then him. Once he is flowing in his responsibility the Lord sees that it is not good for him to be alone so He makes a comparable help. Not compatible (which most think you are to look for) but comparable. And normally because the word “help” is utilized here most women take it out of context and believe it means that they are to assist the man with his responsibility, with his career, with his job. This is not the case. Adam was flowing in his responsibility. What Adam needed was companionship. Adam needed someone who could love him, care for him, have conversation with, act goofy with, bounce ideas off of, share revelation, someone he could agree with and let us not forget someone he could be intimate with. That myth that for some reason when you are “saved” you shouldn’t discuss sex or because your “saved” you shouldn’t have a desire for sex or that once your hitched everything comes down to military style couldn’t be farther from the truth. If you liked to switch it up before you got together then you better continue to switch it up while you’re together. Hey, someone has to talk about it.
The Lord spoke to me and said, “Rebecca, your role is not to minister to the man’s function but it is to minister to the man so that he can function.” Men are not their careers and their careers are not them. It is what they do it is not who they are, it is what brings forth provision and for some it is what they must do because God called them to do it and there is no other option. Their career is what they do day in and day out. They don’t need a woman by their side to assist with that aspect of their lives they need a woman who will help them escape that part of their lives. They need someone they can come to that will allow them to just be them, someone they don’t have to have all the answers with, someone they can be vulnerable with, someone who doesn’t care about what they do but cares about who they are, the person of them. And for every man it is different. Some men may need assistance with what they do and if they do they will convey it.
Women are there to bring addition to the man, not subtraction. (If you hook up with a woman and start seeing loss rather than gain you may want to revisit your choice) Women need to learn to not only listen to their man but actually hear what their man is saying. Women often say they have listened but very few have actually heard. And this goes for single women also. How many women stay with men who confess the red flags the women see from the beginning or stay with a man who straight out tells them that they don’t want to be in a relationship, even though the man’s actions say something different? Rather then hearing everything in the conversation, because the woman wants to be in that relationship, she will pick and choose what she wants to hear and then live in this continuous cycle of hurt and pain because she is attempting to make the relationship something it isn’t and because the man is able to get what he wants without committing and takes advantage of that. And this can go the other way as well. Women and I believe even men stay in unhealthy relationships because of fear of the unknown, because all they can see at that moment is what is before them and they are not sure if they can take that leap to fly because they are not sure that someone will be there to catch them. The good news for those of us with relationship with God is that He is always there to catch us.
I have learned that it is best to embrace times of solitude and allow the Lord to heal oneself, deliver oneself, and give clarity regarding the purpose and call for oneself before getting into an intimate relationship so that one is clear and will recognize what is for them rather then settle for what isn’t. Why settle for what is good when you can eventually have what is best?
Again, what God has for you can belong to no one else even if at that moment someone else has them. If God took the rib from man and made man’s woman from his rib then we have all come out of a man. Some man out there somewhere has been carrying us and the truth is, no matter how many women he goes through and vice versa none will satisfy him, or you the way you do each other. None will have the grace to handle him, or you the way you handle each other. None will be able to flow with him, or you the way you flow together. Why? It is simple, you are him and he is you and when God created him he created you and blessed (empowered) you in him. This is why it will just work when you both meet. This is why you will be able to tap into his anointing and his grace in ways others can’t, and, rather then hinder him or be hindered by him there will be favor, increase and liberty. There will be success.
See, what we forget to do is seek God as to why people are brought into our lives. Some are assignments, some help us mature and grow, some are there for a reason, some are there for a season, but only one will be there for a lifetime, and this will be the one that I came out of!
In closing, revelation is progressive, so of course more can be added and some could be expounded on and of course everyone’s relationship with God is different. Relationship with God is just that, your own relationship with God and everyone’s relationship with God is different because none of His children were created the exact same. Therefore, what we are given through His Word and through His revelation are the guidelines but how or what happens within those guidelines is between God and His child. How He speaks to one may not be how He speaks to another. The grace He gives to one may not be the same grace given to another. With God, it is like any relationship, the more you spend time with Him the more you understand Him and His Word and the more you understand Him and His Word the more you understand you because you are Him!

My Testimony
At the time of writing this I had not received the Dr.’s report but I had already received God’s report. Due to my disobedience in the posting of this I have now received the Dr.’s report but I will still start from the beginning.
In 35 years I have never been in the place I stand today in regards to my health. I have always returned from my annual exams with a clean bill of health, until recently.
I went in as I do every year for my annual check up and left as I do every year, thinking all was A OK. The only shock to me this year was the findings that I am actually only 5’1 in height. LOL! However, a week later, when I normally would receive that call from my Dr.’s assistant saying all my tests came back fine, I received a call from my Dr. saying that ALL my tests came back fine EXCEPT one and that she would like to refer me to another Dr. to get re-examined. When I asked exactly what these results could mean she really couldn’t answer me. She stated the test came back abnormal and could be numerous things OR nothing at all but what she could tell me is that I did NOT have the Big C.
Now let me interject here, my reason for asking so many questions and trying to gain understanding to what this abnormal exam meant was simple…I needed to know how to pray and what to declare over my situation.
I called the new Dr. and made a follow up appointment. When I went in for my appointment the new Dr. pulled me in her office and showed me the report from my Dr. stating that the test came back abnormal. Because I have never had an abnormal anything she stated that she would like to re-examine me just to ensure that this wasn’t something that could lead to anything down the line. She explained in detail what she was going to do and what she was looking for, abnormal cells. She also told me that I did NOT have the Big C but wanted to do a biopsy if there were abnormal cells to see what would be the next step in ensuring I didn’t get the Big C down the line.
Let me interject again. Mind you, this was my first meeting with this Dr. After I let her speak she asked if I had any questions. I told her that I didn’t have any questions but I had something to tell her. I told her this, “I’m not sure what your beliefs are, and I would never mean to disrespect your personal beliefs or disrespect your craft, but if I am going to be your patient moving forward then you need to know that I am a woman of faith, I am a praying woman, I have fasted and prayed concerning this appointment, even though it may come out to be nothing, and the only declaration coming out of my mouth is that I am healed, and that should there be any additional steps the Great Physician will give you wisdom on what to do because I haven’t even scraped the surface of what God has called me to do in this life!” Needless to say…she agreed! And for the record, if she wouldn’t have agreed I would have went elsewhere.
As I mentioned to the Dr. I mention to you. As soon as the first call came in from my Dr. I began to get God’s Word on my situation. Sure, it can possibly be nothing but just incase I needed to begin to believe at that moment. I got His Word on my situation, once I got His Word on my situation He instructed me to fast, He also instructed me to ask a few of those in my close circle to fast with me, and they did, well, at least they told me they did.
My visit with my new Dr. was on a Tuesday, on that Thursday I was in worship, I was reminding the Lord of what His Word said regarding MY healing, I reminded Him that at the time of my Salvation is the time that I received this healing, should I need one, so this was already done! It was at 7:02 PM that evening I knew this was done. My healing was already given to me at the time of my salvation so all I had to do at this point was thank Him for the MANIFESTATION of that healing. At first it felt weird, because my mind, my flesh wanted to tell me that I had to do all these things to receive my healing, to make sure God would hear me and to ensure that this healing, if one was needed, would take place. But as I mentioned that isn’t the case my healing was already received when I received Christ, so all I have to do now is thank Him for that manifestation. And that is what I am doing, thanking Him for the manifestation of my healing should I need one, and every time my mind wants to tell me otherwise, wants to tell me I am going to die, wants to tell me I deserve this or did something to cause this, every time my mind wants to fill my spirit with fear and anxiety I shut it down with the Word of God, I shut it down by NOT speaking what it (my mind) is telling me but by speaking to it what the Word is telling me and reminding it that this has nothing to do with me or my choices, it just is, it may be a fact but it ISN’T the truth cause the truth is that this is already done.
Sure, I could have waited to get the results and then put my faith into motion but I preferred to put my faith into motion from the very first call. Whether I need to or not. And regardless of the outcome, that Dr. in that office got ministered to concerning the Great Physician who is STILL healing today.
As I close this writing I have now received the follow up call from my Dr. stating that the biopsy lines up with the results from the original exam and that while the abnormal cells are NOT cancerous she prefers to remove them before they have a chance to turn into anything. So, we set up the procedure for this Wednesday. Now when dealing with a situation as such it is important to use wisdom as well as to obey what the Lord instructs you to do through the process. Don’t be so spiritual that you are no Earthly good so to speak. When I say wisdom I mean keep your appointments and follow through. Get the information. When I say obey what the Lord instructs you to do I mean just that. The Lord has instructed me to again fast the entire day before the procedure and at the end of that day to take communion with Him over my healing. And I will obey. And since the procedure is a minor one and I will be up during the procedure I will be reading my book, “I Believe in Miracles” by Kathryn Kuhlman while having the procedure done. :)
My faith is here, either I will go back and the Dr. won’t be able to find any abnormal cells to remove or I will go back and have the procedure and start fresh, new cells for my new beginnings.
Going through something like this has gotten me to think. Though I know this is not going to amount to anything and though I know this is not going to be unto death it will get you to ponder and think of all that. I don’t fear death. I feel like Esther, if I perish, I perish. Now again, I KNOW that will NOT be the outcome but I’m at a place where I don’t have fear anymore. Fear has no control over me. People’s wrong opinions of me don’t mean anything to me. I look back over the past (5) years, I look at how things that I know were God came to a halt without explanation, I look at where I have been and where God has taken me and most women would have lost their damn mind! Yes, I said damn! Most women would have already been placed in a mental institution. It is ONLY God who has kept me, and it is ONLY God who will keep me. I truly believe the emotional, mental and spiritual crosses that we bear are far more challenging than the physical because most times what you’re going through emotional, mental or spiritual isn’t tangible. Watch the movie Luther and you will know what I mean. To know the call of God, know the change God has put in you but not know how it is going to come to being, seeing contradiction all around you to what He has spoken, knowing who you are to be but not having the liberty to be it, the questioning during the waiting and holding seasons, and so on and so forth. This for me is really a walk in the clouds. Don’t get me wrong, you will have initial thoughts, but if you are a child of God who KNOWS his/her covenant and what that entails, who KNOWS the promises of God, etc, your Spirit will kick in quick, fast and in a hurry! J
Now…we move forward…and we wait for God’s report to be given. In the meantime, as I said, it gets you thinking. I can no longer waste time making people my priority while being only their option. I’m ready for my new beginnings and all that entails. I am ready to live and breathe destiny and I have no fear! I don’t care what people are going to think or say. I am ready to walk, no, run this thing out. I am ready for the Lord to bring me to my companion and my companion to me. I’m ready to be that comparable help (still not sold on the whole marriage thing but this is a start) and all that entails for him. I’m ready to take the risk to love and to allow the love of God in me to flow. I’m ready to be bold and confident in the things God has for me. I’m ready to receive my inheritance. I’m ready! I’m ready! I’m ready! No more wasting time with people who can’t or don’t want to step up to where I am at. Let them settle for second best. I have too much to do and too much to change! No more wasted oil, my wineskin is new!
With my birthday marking a new year ahead, and with this situation that has arisen, as I will sit with God and take communion it will mark this memorial! For this girl is now FEARLESS and FREE and anyone who is going to roll with me in destiny is going to have to be just as FEARLESS and just as FREE!
I KNOW I’m not perfect, and nor do I claim to be. I’m the first to admit I’m NOT! But one thing I can say about me is that I ALLOW God to work on me. I ALLOW Him to strip me and operate on me, as painful as it is at times, cause I realize not only will it emerge me into being more like Him but it is needed for someone else and that is what my life is about…others!
In 35 years I have never been in the place I stand today in regards to my health. I have always returned from my annual exams with a clean bill of health, until recently.

The TRUE Reward
The TRUE reward for someone like me isn't the big home, the luxury car or the designer label. The TRUE reward for me is seeing someone's life touched or changed through the revelation that He has given me. Like the following note that was posted on Angell's blog in honor of little old me. :)
"I just had to show RB some love. I believe that we have a spiritual connection. We are both women that loves to give HIM our father GOD the praise. She always seems to send me blogs that are right on time just like GOD is. They end up going right along with something that I may have been praying for or what not. Her blogs and her myspace messages always hit home with me. She is such a blessings and is most definitely a Woman Of God. I have nothing but, love and respect for her. Its amazing at how you can feel the words of God through someone. Especially, someone who is ground in HIM like she is. And, how you can feel peoples prayers. But, the reason for this W.O.G. blog. Is just to recognize my sister, my friend, my family in Christ RB. For all that she minsters to me. I receive it all! She is always and forever in my prayers! I can say that she is a great in pack in my life. She is such and blessing. I am thankful and blessed that I am able to communicate with her. I pray that God continues to show this woman favor! For the note. She doesnt just talk about GOD she walks this thing out. ;)God bless this amazing W.O.G.!"

Change
In this interesting, sensitive season of change I have been introduced to yet another side of God. I am witnessing Him in ways I have yet to experience. I am seeking with a fresh hunger and thirst for understanding and in that this is what I have received thus far regarding this interesting, sensitive season of change.
The Economy: I realize, for the one in covenant with God, that even with all that is transitioning for us it is not a time of retreat but a time for advance, it is not a time of loss but a time to possess. The Bible says that we are to be the Lender, not the Borrower, but up until this point the majority has lived on borrowed money. The majority lives, drives and wears that which is owned, not by them, but by some organization or business. Could this be because the church has defined the word “blessed” with what one has materially? The church, for a time now, has equaled the blessing of God with the size and location of one’s home, the type of car one drives or the label one wears. The church equivalents lifestyle to blessing rather than the change of one’s live to blessing. The definition of blessed is empowered. It would seem that one would be empowered when one has dominion over their life and all that their life involves, even when not all ducks are lined up in a row. It would seem then that true blessing is one having their right mind and peace through a season of chaos, it would be one having their health, it would be one being joined to the one that they’ve been carrying (or to the one that has been carrying them if you’re female), it would be one having enough to pay their expenses AND the expenses of someone else because they have more than enough, it is knowing the principles needed to acquire that which has belonged to you before the foundation of the world and being sustained in it with joy for true blessing doesn’t accompany sorrow.
I now recognize that 2008 was a year of evaluation for those of us who “claim” to be about our Father’s business, for those of us who were chosen to bring forth and birth change, which when I refer to change I am really referring to restoration for I believe the change we are experiencing now, the transition taking place is God stripping what man created to re-build what He designed. God must ensure that in this next wave, those in leadership have their heart right with God and toward God. God is separating the wheat from the tares in this season. He is checking to see that even if He allows one to lose all will one still serve Him. It is easy to serve God when everything is handed to you and you have all you could imagine, but can you still serve God when it seems all has been taken and what you desire seems so out of reach? Those who know God the answer is easy, yes, because we know what to do to re-build and know that re-building His way and according to His pattern this time it will last.
The appointing of now President Obama was very significant. It shows that God is now choosing and positioning for this next wave. It also shows that the heart of his people are ready to receive those He will position even if it doesn’t look how they thought it should look. For a moment He stepped back and allowed His creation to make choices, and as we can see, His creation made a mess of something so precious and sacred. His creation, again, designed something based off their own desires and even off what they felt was needed rather than according to His pattern. God has spoken, “enough is enough”. There is no more time to play church. Someone’s life, even in other countries, is relying on His creation to now be about His business and He knows better than anyone who has the right heart to do this. In this season the body is the pieces on a chessboard and God Himself is positioning those who are sincerely about His business, into places of leadership. Those who are not about what others can do for them but what they can do for others and He is removing those who have been about their own gain.
While this moment is exciting it is also very unfamiliar which is why I have learned that when in an unfamiliar place one must allow for there to be space between one’s self and God. One must allow God to go before them for the way is not one in which they have been before (even it appears similar to one’s past) but if you allow God to go first and follow you will end up in your promise land and with different results.
For me it is unfamiliar because in 2008 I began to see my life move forward in more than one area and heard God speak in ways I had not before and then saw my life come to a complete halt in more than one area, with no explanation. Where there is no explanation you must ask questions otherwise you will be confused. At that I had a choice, I could get my mind on the season and come up with my own conclusion, or I could get His mind on the season and know the “real” conclusion. I chose to get His since He knows all and sees all. See, people who get His mind aren’t shocked when certain circumstances happen. I feel as though God removed everything and everyone that I could depend on so that I can only depend on Him. Now, I can only depend on Him to know the time and the season, what Word(s) need to be coming forth from my mouth in this season of Harvest (yes, I said Harvest), to speak to my thoughts and give me peace when my flesh decides that it wants to have a discussion with me contrary to what God has instructed me to speak and believe, to give wisdom when it comes to decision making. I also recognize depending on Him in this way will be needed for my destiny. I must know Him as the all and all in my life. Therefore this unfamiliar place is beginning to be identified. It is a place of preparation that will be followed by promotion into the place that was destined for me before the foundation of the world The place that I only I can occupy because it was created for me and I for it.
I urge anyone in an unfamiliar place to get to know the One that created you for in knowing Him you really begin to know you. Unfamiliar places can also bring pitfalls so I also urge, and I know this from experience, anyone in an unfamiliar place to stay in a place of consecration. An unfamiliar place can lead to vulnerability (among other things) and vulnerability can lead to wrong decision making that one may regret later. Sometimes it is best to BE STILL until you are ABUNDENTLY CLEAR rather than attempt to do something on your own when you are treading new territory.
In this transition we must hold fast to our confessions, we must continually plant His Word, water His Word until that Word Harvests, we must obey His principles (especially financially), we must seek Him not people and obey even if it doesn’t make sense, we must worship even if we don’t have full understanding as to that which is taking place and we must trust like never before, even in loss, that the One who created us is finishing what He started concerning us and seeing it through till completion. I know He didn’t bring us this far to leave us!
My prayer life has changed recently. I see the big picture isn’t about those in my circle or me it IS about those connected to those around me and me. My prayer in this season, “God, you can take things and people from me but please don’t take the Anointing for it is the Anointing on me that others need most and it is the Anointing that equips me to go where no one else can and do what no one else can.”
Be encouraged…Your BEST days are ahead!

Healing
Healing can occur in more realms than just the physical, such as in the realm of the emotions, mentality and the spirit. I also believe that the key to physical healing is first being healed in the realm of the emotions, mentality or the spiritual. For only once the emotions are submitted to the Word and the Promises of God, only once the mentality of the one who is in need of physical healing can break out of the negativity, break out of the role of the victim and wrap their mind around the Word and the Promises of God regarding physical healing, and only once the one who is in need of physical healing is spiritually connected to the One who heals and has received their salvation through the One who heals and understands that at the time of their salvation they became a joint heir with the One who heals and thereby their healing was already received on Calvary will one be able to then believe for the One who heals to heal them.
In I Believe in Miracles it mentions that Kathryn Kuhlman strongly disapproved of anyone having the idea that her ministry was devoted only, or even primarily, to the healing of sick bodies. Ms. Kuhlman had many teachings but what everyone remembers is the many healings of sick bodies that took place and it is in this realm that the present day church operates. Now don’t get me wrong, healing of sick bodies is something we should rejoice about and ensure to give God glory for (not man) but I think it is just as important to ensure that the healing of one’s emotions, mentality and spirit take place for it is through these healings that one will gain the understanding regarding physical healing not just for themselves but to share with others. It is great to receive the miraculous power of God in a circumstance but it is greater to walk out of the circumstance with understanding of the miraculous power of God. Understanding of His Word and His Promises regarding one’s circumstance, understanding of what occurred at one’s time of salvation, understanding of what spiritual weapons to use in what season, understanding of the Anointing and how to move the Anointing into any situation by the Word, understanding of what to do when the Holy Spirit, the Power of God is present and understanding of how to reverence the Holy Spirit, the Power of God when present.
The Lord has had me studying the services of Kathryn Kuhlman and the many testimonies that took place in her services. Within the first chapter of the first book I was brought to tears. I realized just how far the present day church has gotten from the reverence of the Holy Spirit and how today the church reverences things more than the presence of the Holy Spirit, positions and titles more than the presence of the Holy Spirit. It seems the church is more interested in performing an entertaining service rather than letting the Performer of the miraculous have liberty to move. It seems the church is more interested in showcasing one’s gifts rather than showcasing the One who is the giver of the gift. It seems as soon as the atmosphere is at the place where He can move the green light goes on for the congregation to move with people jockeying to be seen laying hands or delivering a Word with the majority having no understanding in what they are doing.
What the church has learned very well is how to copy, how to copy the world, how to copy other’s anointing and callings, other’s worship, and other’s ministries. Copying does not bring forth the miraculous power of God. Dying to one’s self does. The present day church must learn what it is to die, to be broken. Watchman Nee wrote it like this, “Only one kind of basic dealing can enable man to be useful before God – brokenness.” Kathryn Kuhlman has been quoted to say, “I die a thousand deaths before every service.” Now I am sure one can still be used without these but it will never to be to the extent that God would like to use them for self, pride, fear, etc will commonly get in the way. I agree with the following statement by Ms. Kuhlman, “…To this very day, there is nothing more repulsive to me than the lack of wisdom…There is one thing I can’t stand, and that is fanaticism – the manifestations of the flesh that bring a reproach on something that is so marvelous, something that is so sacred.”
There is such a drive in me for the church to become again that oasis for those who are thirsting purely after God and the Anointing of the miraculous to touch their situations. It is here that I have been lately in consecration and in prayer/worship. It is as if I’m seeing the big picture for the first time. This has only come after the Lord had me on a 30 day Word consecration and now a 10 day fast in which I have never broke down the way I did on New Year’s Day. Nothing else matters to me anymore except seeing people who need to find God, find Him and find the real God, not the one the church has created. Nothing else matters to me anymore except seeing the church go from fanaticism to true, genuine and pure worship and reverence toward a God that nothing is impossible with and can make the way of escape out of any situation…including physical death.
I understand more and more as I read the many testimonies that occurred during the many services Ms. Kuhlman conducted that anyone who has a responsibility in a service as such must have first died to self so that they are completely out of His way, they must second have the heart of a servant and realize they are solely there to be a vessel to Him, to be that point of faith, that agreement for someone who may or may not know they need it, and thirdly they must have understanding of the different types of healings that can manifest (some do happen over a period of time) as well as the different types of individuals and their mindsets that will be present. Only when you can understand and relate to someone can you truly be effective.
I believe the Lord is identifying and promoting this year individuals who realize this really isn’t about them. It is truly about Him and His work. He is trying people’s hearts and dealing with individuals in ways He hasn’t before and I believe He is connecting individuals, who are seeking after Him to other individuals who get it and disconnecting individuals, who are seeking after Him from those who don’t.
It’s not personal…it’s just Spirit!
